Whistle Blower False Claims Litigation

Wexler Boley & Elgersma LLP represents private citizens who expose fraud against the government.

Uncovering False Claims

Wexler Boley & Elgersma LLP is committed to seeing companies and individuals held responsible for their actions that involve fraud against the government, and representing those private citizens who expose the fraud.

Under The Federal False Claims Act and state law counterparts, private citizens or “whistleblowers” may sue on behalf of the government for fraud committed against it.  This type of fraud costs taxpayers billions of dollars each year. If a case is successful, the government may be able to recover treble damages and civil penalties for each violation.  In these cases, the private citizen or “relator” can receive his or her attorneys’ fees and costs, as well as a portion of the funds awarded by the court.
