American Family Insurance Trial to Begin April 3, 2017

Following the Ohio judge’s denial of the Defendants’ motion to decertify in January, as well as their motion to continue trial, the American Family Insurance lawsuit trial will begin on April 3, 2017 at 8:30 A.M. EST. The trial will be held at the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio, Courtroom 15A, located at the Carl B. Stokes U.S. Court House, 801 West Superior Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio 44113.

The Case (Jammal, et al. v. American Family Insurance Group, et al. case no 1:13 CV 437) alleges that American Family misclassified its agents as independent contractors rather than employees. Plaintiffs  will be represented by Edward A. Wallace and Kara A. Elgersma of Wexler Wallace LLP, as well as co-counsel Charles J. Crueger and Erin K. Dickinson of Hansen Reynolds Dickinson Crueger LLC, Jack Landskroner and Drew Legando of Landskroner Grieco Merriman, LLC, and Gregory F. Coleman of Greg Coleman Law PC.
