Amy Keller to Moderate Panel on Challenges to Class Certification

Wexler Wallace associate Amy Keller will moderate the Chicago Bar Association’s 2015 Annual Spring Seminaron Thursday, May 14. The Seminar, titled “Challenges to Class Membership: Ascertainability, Standing, and Injury,” will feature commentary from noted plaintiff and defense attorneys. The topic areas, concerning challenges to “ascertainability” as well as absent class member injury and Article III standing, are particularly timely given the Supreme Court’s recent decision to grant certiorari in Spokeo, Inc. v. Robins, and proposed House bill 1927. Keller is active within the CBA’s Class Action Committee and was the Committee’s Reporter last year, where she tracked class cases in the Seventh Circuit and circulated a monthly newsletter, and is serving as the Seminar Director this year. For more information on the event (including information on how to register and receive CLE credit for attendance), you can visit the Chicago Bar Association’s website here.
